  Jock on drums  Onstage possibly at the Moonlight Club London  Martin on Bass   the semi-legendary T Wilday on stage... rarely seen image  this a funny one... we played at Solihull Civic Hall (probably at the same gig 021 mention in Messthetics 103 sleevenotes), and they had a lame p.a and worse lighting set-up in the place. We were asked to contribute money to the lighting man, so being the pisstakers we were refused and instead demanded to do our show under full house lights, no 'lightshoww' just the fluorescent tubes. The lighting guy got cocky and started to use a few 'effects' [this was a SHIT small 'lighting rig'!!] Jon complained about this and warned him not to use a strobe because it would bring on his [jon's] epilepsy [a non-existent condition]. Of course, this bloke switched on a strobe... down Jon went into a epileptic spasm rolling all around the floor... it was very funny , but I don't remember what the reaction was at the time!   a young Nikki Sudden
